2nd Presentation of the athletic groups

The second presentation of the athletic groups takes place at Fragata village at Omala community.

Omala community is the only community of the island. Τhere is the Church and Nunnery of St. Gerasimos, patron saint of the island, where the relic of the Saint is kept. In the area there is the modern winery of the “Cooperation of Robola Producers” which produces high quality wines.

The athletic groups can visit St. Gerasimos Nunnery and the winery before their presentation after arrangement with the Organizing Committee.

The presentation of the groups starts at 20.30 and ends at about 22.00 (p.s. because of the altitude of the area you will need a jacket).

At the end of the performances  there will be a traditional event with live music by the Folk Dance Society of Fragata ‘’Mermigas’’ and meal on site with special prices for the participants.  There will be presentation of Kefallonian folk dances and after that all together, dancers, athletes, trainers, companions, parents, spectators, volunteers and organizers dance and entertain ourselves to the full!
